President Bola Tinubu on Monday praised National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu during a visit to Adamawa State, describing him as committed and courageous in the discharge of his duties.
This was disclosed while the President unveiled projects in the state, where he commended Ribadu’s performance and expressed confidence in his leadership.
“The National Security Adviser, the son of the soil, Nuhu Ribadu, I will say clearly here that you are doing an excellent job and we are seeing the results,” Tinubu said.
“With you, we will defeat the bandits and terrorists,” he added.
The president further described Ribadu as honest, bold and dedicated, noting that Adamawa State should be proud of him.
Tinubu’s remarks come amid recent allegations by former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who accused the NSA of involvement in an alleged attempt to procure thallium sulphate from Poland and raised concerns over an attempted arrest at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
However, the Office of the National Security Adviser has reportedly asked El-Rufai to provide evidence of the alleged procurement to the Department of State Services for investigation.
Recall Dockaysworld reported that the federal government sued El-Rufai over his allegations of listening to private conversations of the NSA without his consent.
