Tinubu breaks silence as US prepares for potential action against Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration is engaging global partners through diplomacy.

The assurance comes as the United States considers three possible military intervention plans in Nigeria.

The President spoke during Thursday’s Federal Executive Council meeting held at the State House in Abuja.

Tinubu addressed concerns about the US report suggesting possible light, medium, or heavy military options in response to insecurity in Nigeria.

He stated that the Federal Government is maintaining diplomatic communication with world leaders while staying focused on defeating terrorism within the country.

He urged Nigerians not to lose faith despite challenges posed by terrorism and other crimes.

He reaffirmed that his administration would not relent until every part of the country is secured.

Tinubu also called on his ministers to maintain consistency in their communication and avoid sending conflicting messages that could cause confusion.
