President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday morning left Abuja for a two-nation working visit to Japan and Brazil.
The trip, Dockaysworld reports is aimed at strengthening economic, trade, and diplomatic ties with both countries.
According to his Special Adviser on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, the President’s itinerary includes a brief stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, before heading to Japan.
In Yokohama, Japan, Tinubu will attend the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) from August 20 to 22, where African and Japanese leaders will deliberate on economic cooperation, trade, and sustainable development.
At the conclusion of the summit, he will proceed to Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, for a two-day state visit from August 24 to 25, at the invitation of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga on Wednesday said Tinubu’s delegation, comprises ministers and senior officials.
