President Bola Tinubu expressed deep gratitude to the Nigerian state governors for their steadfast loyalty and support.
During a one-day visit to Nasarawa State, he praised their commitment to the “Renewed Hope Agenda,” which focuses on rebuilding lives and strengthening the nation.
Describing the gathering as emotional, he said, “Thank you for keeping your loyalty intact.”
He assured Nasarawa’s people that his government will back development projects in agriculture and solid minerals.
At a meeting with the Emir of Lafia and Governor Abdullahi Sule, Tinubu commended the governor’s fiscal responsibility, stating that no borrowing was involved in building a new interchange.
He said this has earned trust from both the federal government and investors.
He also announced the commissioning of new infrastructure in Lafia, including secretariat buildings, roads, tractors for mechanised farming, and vehicles for security forces.
He spoke further on his dedication to fulfilling all facets of the Renewed Hope Agenda to benefit youth and future generations.
The Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad, praised Tinubu’s leadership and economic reforms, recalling Tinubu’s successful tenure as Lagos governor and expressing confidence that Nigeria would flourish by the end of his term.
He pledged the Emirate’s full support to the President.
Other governors from Kaduna, Imo, Borno, Ogun, Kwara, and Benue attended the inauguration.
Tinubu concluded by speaking on his commitment to driving positive change and positioning Nigeria for long-term economic benefits.
