President Bola Tinubu on Monday welcomed Nigeria’s women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, to the Presidential Villa in Abuja after they won the 2025 FIBA Women’s Afrobasket Championship.
During the reception, the President announced national honours for all players and coaching staff.
Each player will also receive a cash reward of $100,000, while the technical crew will get $50,000 each.
