President Bola Tinubu has withdrawn the appointments of Rotimi Richard Pedro as Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority and Stella Din as Executive Director of News.
The president in a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga directed the return of Mr Salihu Abdullahi Dembos as DG and Mr Ayo Adewuyi as Executive Director of News.
Dembos, who was first appointed in October 2023, will now continue his three-year tenure as head of the national broadcaster, while Adewuyi, appointed in 2024, will also resume his post to complete his term expected to end in 2027.
