Tottenham and Man City qualify for Champions League knockout stages

English football clubs Tottenham and Manchester City, have both progressed to the Champions League knockout stages.

Spurs will finish second behind Bayern Munich in Group B after they came from 2-0 down to beat Olympiacos 4-2 after a second half comeback.

Meanwhile, City struggled to a 1-1 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk at the Etihad Stadium but will top Group C after moving through the group stage unbeaten.

Outside of the Premier League, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid held each other but progressed in a pulsating match at the Bernabeu.

And Juventus are through in Group D, with Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen fighting for the second spot in the division.

City made it to the last 16 for the seventh year running but can forget any hope of winning it unless they raise their level
