U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to the Nigerian government, threatening to cut off aid and possibly launch a military offensive if the alleged killing of Christians in the country continues.
In a post shared on his Truth Social account, Trump accused Nigerian authorities of allowing the “mass slaughter” of Christians by Islamic extremists, saying the United States would not stand by while such atrocities persist.
His remarks have sparked intense reactions online, with many observers describing the tone as unusually aggressive for a sitting U.S. president.
Recall Dockaysworld reported that Trump had recently re-designated Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern” (CPC) over alleged persecution of Christians.
He had warned that his administration would take further action if the violence continued.
The Nigerian government has not yet responded to Trump’s latest comments, though it has in the past denied allegations of a religious genocide, insisting that the violence affects both Christians and Muslims and is driven by terrorism, ethnic tensions, and resource conflicts.

“If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, “guns-a-blazing,” to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities. I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!”
