World heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua is reportedly receiving medical care after being involved in a road accident on Tuesday in the Makun area of Ogun State.
The incident occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, near Danco Filling Station, where the Lexus SUV conveying the boxer reportedly collided with a stationary truck. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
According to the The Punch,  two died due to the accident while Joshua himself survived with visible minor injuries.Â
In a video seen by Dockaysworld, Joshua was observed in the badly damaged vehicle as he was being removed by first responders for emergency care.Â
While seemingly dazed, the boxer appeared to be well physically.
Fans and well wishers have begun to express hope for the boxer’s quick recovery.
