UNIABUJA Students suffer severe injuries after robbers attack their hostel (photos)

Medical students at the University of Abuja have been severely injured after they were attacked by unidentified assailants.

The incident occurred in the early hours of today, Friday August 2nd with a student almost beheaded by one of the attackers who ended up shattering a chair with the cutlass meant for the student’s head. 

According to the students, the men armed with dangerous weapons stormed their hostel at about 1am and attempted to kill them. While some of the students were able to escape unhurt, others had serious injuries inflicted on them.

The University authority and the Abuja police command have yet to react to the attack.
