UNIBEN medicine students stage protest over school refusal to allocate NDDC hostel given to them by Government

All medicine students of the University of Benin, today, have come out in their full capacity to kick against the unjust deprivation of NDDC hostel given to them by the Nigerian government by the school management.

The students from 100-600 Level boycotted their classes and postings in solidarity and mounted road blocks on major roads

This further action was taken due to the school management’s negligence on the matter even after they were displaced from the hostel(hall 5) they were temporarily residing in.

NDDC hostel was commissioned in 2015 and was given to medicine student by the Nigerian government.

Many of the students have expressed sadness especially students of the 300 level class who have their mbbs Exams slated for may 7th and still have no place to lay their heads.
