US deports notorious Nigerian ex-gang member Ibrahim Ijaoba over armed robbery, drug trafficking


U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has announced the deportation of Ibrahim Tunde Ijaoba, a Nigerian national described as a former member of the Bloods street gang.

In a post seen by Dockaysworld, ICE said Ijaoba was in the United States illegally and had an extensive criminal record involving violent and drug-related offences.

According to the agency, his convictions include aggravated assault on a police officer with a firearm, assault and aggravated assault, and armed robbery.

ICE also listed obstruction, drug sales, and escaping police custody among his criminal offences.

The agency described the Bloods as a notoriously violent street gang and said Ijaoba’s criminal history posed a serious public safety concern.

ICE confirmed that Ijaoba had a final order of removal and was held in its custody pending deportation to Nigeria.
