OAP and social worker, Kelechi Ikpe has come under fire for saying that a lot of men are depressed these days because women have taken up leadership roles.
In a discussion with 3 other women about ‘Depression in the 21st century’, the OAP attributed increase in depression to three reasons : urbanization, lack of communal living and gender shift.
There has been widespread reaction to her third reason- the gender shift. She had also suggested women were getting depressed too as they were overwhelmed. The video has since gone viral.
