A journalist, Kadaria Ahmed, had to interrupt the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, yesterday as the VP tried to defend President Buhari at the Town hall Meeting for 2019 presidential candidates.

The journalist had asked the President about allegations of bribery against Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje, who was allegedly caught on tape in the act. She asked President Buhari if he thought the tape was fake or authentic.

The Vice President had jumped to answer the question which was directed at the President  prompting the journalist to cut him short.

“He can talk for himself” she said

The President ended up answering he question himself. According to President Buhari, he had seen the video and was shocked and found it hard to believe that Ganduje would brazenly accept bribe from contractors and smile while at it.

”I don’t know what technology was used…” the President said

He added that he would seek for clarity on the case when he goes to Kano for campaigns.
