Residents of a community in Katsina state have reportedly retaliated against bandits who kidnapped some of their fellow villagers by abducting family members of said bandits and demanding an exchange.Â
This was reported by popular commentator Jonathan Joshua Nyitse in a video seen by Dockaysworld.
He narrated that the villagers had realized they knew who the bandits were and where their family members resided.
According to Jonathan, they had held on to the family members until the bandits sent back their people with about 30,000 naira each as transportation.
He stated that this was a new dimension to the insecurity matter in the nation as some Nigerians had sought to defend themselves as best they could.
Recall that the Kwara church attack victims have regained their freedom despite the calls for 3.8 billion naira ransom which the authorities have not addressed was paid.
The president and security forces have also not indicated what became of the kidnappers.
