Vincent Kompany relieved of coaching duties after overseeing Anderlecht’s worst start in 21years

Belgian football side FC Anderlecht have relieved Vincent kompany of his tactical duties after he overseen a disastrous start as player-manager.

The Belgian club are stuck in a relegation battle after picking up just two points from a possible 12.

Anderlecht where hoping kompany would be able to transform their football philosophy in a similar manner in which Per Guadiola transformed Manchester city following his appointment four months ago.

But the Ex city captained failed to live up to expectations.

Kompany is expected to hand over coaching duties to simon davis but will still remain club captain.
