Waitress Calls out singer May D over unpaid 11K Debt in hotel

A waitress identified as blackgoddess online has come on X formerly known as Twitter to call out Nigerian singer May D over an alleged unpaid debt of 11k while he had been at a hotel. 

The waitress said that she’d encountered issues when it seemed like the musician had signed out without paying. 

She narrated that she was however able to reach him through one of his companions at the hotel and sent him the bill. 

In chats she shared, the contact assigned May D could be seen telling the waitress that she was being disrespectful as she was disturbing him. 

After numerous back and forth, the singer sent part of the money with a balance of 11k naira remaining since January 2024. 

The waitress said that the May D and the public had to understand her pain as the economy was hard and the money was taken from her salary.

So about two months ago Mr MayD and friends came to the hotel where I work to lodge, and I served them food and drinks, it was on Friday, 12 of Jan,2024….

So after he had foods and drinks on Friday, they all went to the club and didn’t come back that same night, was so scared coz I would have been the one to pay if he ended up not paying, but one of his friends was still in the hotel so I was a bit assured I’ll get the money..

Fast forward to the next day which was on Saturday 13th,of Jan 2024.

Our hotel rule is to do our sales account before 10am in the morning, so I got his contact from his friend who was in the hotel to reach out to him so I can get the money and his response was totally offensive.

Still I kept my cool coz I wouldn’t want to get blocked and end up paying for money I didn’t owe, which I still did coz he only sent part of his payment and I had to cover up the balance of 11k with my salary at the end of the month…

Now to the reason I had to come out like this coz he won’t reply my texts, we all know how hard the country is lately and I must say it’s affecting me as a salary earner seriously, I hope this gets to him coz I need my money so badly, y’all can help me tag him please…Thanks!
