Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy Obafemi Hamzat have been spotted giving each other a ‘leg shake’ to avoid contacting Coronavirus disease.
The two men who met at the
Infectous Disease Hospital could be seen declining the conventional handshake to avoid increase in chances of infection during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Mr Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday, on arrival at the facility for inspection, first performed the ‘legshake’ with the state’s commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi.
The ‘legshake’ has become popular since Covid-19 broke out as people are advised to restrict touches.
