Officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have discovered a cannabis (weed) farm in a secondary school in Anambra state.
The owner of the farm which was disguised as a vegetable farm had been identified as Amobi Okafor.
The 45 year old’s illegal plantation was discovered after he was arrested for allegedly macheting a security guard in the school during an altercation.

The farm was located inside Lake City Secondary School in Nri community.
Commandant of the NSCDC in Anambra, Mr David Bille said:
“The suspect confessed to the crime and took the NSCDC operatives to the location, behind Lake City Secondary School, where he grows cannabis on a yearly basis.
Exhibits recovered from him include machet, fresh leaves suspected to be cannabis sativa(indian hemp) and other incriminating items.”
Billie further disclosed that Amobi will be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
