Nigerian starboy singer Wizkid Ayo, has said that nothing would change with making of songs about Internet fraud AKA yahoo yahoo and other crimes.
The Afro beat musician said this at an event by the UBA of which Wizkid is now an ambassador.
At the event, he explained that he wasn’t the type to use songs to speak out against crime in Nigeria and that it was a deeper conversation than that.
He said he would rather show the youth a good example with the kind of life he lived. He revealed that he had made just N250k at the start of his career but now made way more than that.
He added that he would touch as many lives as he could and hopefully the young ones would emulate him rather than making songs about crime which wouldn’t change anything.
