There was pandemonium in Atlanta when unexpected lightning strikes led to the injury of several spectators at the PGA championship, on Saturday 24th of August.
A lightning strike had hit a 60-foot pine tree at the Golf tour championship and caused it to shatter all the way to the bottom.
Five spectators including four adults and one female teenager had been injured as they’d taken shelter beneath the tree after the suspension of the event for 30 minutes due to storms.
