Nollywood actress Oluebube Obio has claimed that she was forced to attend an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign event, saying her life and safety were not guaranteed.
Obio made the allegation after facing criticism over videos showing her at the political gathering, with some Nigerians questioning her presence at the event.
In a social media post, the actress said her appearance was not voluntary and alleged that she was being blackmailed.
She said she would expose those behind the alleged blackmail when the time was right and asked her supporters to pray for her.
“I was actually forced to be in such settings, my life and safety is not guaranteed, if you watch the video closely, I myself felt so much discomfort and stressed up.
“When the time is right I will expose the people blackmailing me, the least you can do is to pray for me.”
Obio did not name the people she accused of forcing or blackmailing her and did not provide further details about the circumstances surrounding her appearance at the APC campaign.
