Breaking: Saraki loses senatorial seat to APC

Nigerian Senate President, Sen. Bukola saraki, has lost the kwara central senatorial seat after suffering defeat in all four local councils to his APC rival, Ibrahim Oloriegbe.

Sen. B.Saraki currently represents the Kwara Central senatorial district in Ilorin, Kwara state.

Below are the results from the four local councils in the senatorial district announced by INEC sunday evening.

With this defeat, the senate president won’t be returning to the house on expiration of his current senatorial tenure, the commission is expected to officially declare ibrahim the winner of the senate seat soon.
