EKSU final year student narrowly survives after attempting to commit suicide over carryover [photos]

A final year student of the Ekiti State University, EKSU, identified as Akindeko Oluwafemi aka Zamane, has narrowly survived after attempting to commit suicide over a course he failed.

According to reports, the 2017/2018 Student Union Sport Director had an F in the recently released BUS 418 examination result and decided to end his own life.

He was, however, rescued after taking a poisonous substance and cut himself, following a series of disturbing WhatsApp messages. 

He was subsequently rushed to the Ekiti state University teaching hospital where he was stabilized.
