Masquerade ‘talks by force’ after receiving severe beating from Nigerian soldier (video)

A video of a masquerade pleading for mercy while a Nigerian soldier beat him with a huge stick has begun to circulate online.

In the video, the masquerade could be seen surrounded by soldiers who recorded the incidence.

They could be heard mocking the masquerade as they said they’d never seen a talking one before.

The reason for the assault remains unknown to the public as at the time of filing this report.

The Nigerian army is yet to release an official statement regarding the viral video.
