Scammer masquerading as Billionaire Ned Nwoko’s son arrested in Rivers state

A 21-year-old suspected fraudster identified as Emmanuel O. Israel, has been arrested by police for parading himself as ”Ned Nwoko Jnr”, the ‘son’ of billionaire businessman and husband of actress Regina Daniels, Ned Nwoko.

Israel who was operating with the fake name, Emzy Ned Nwoko Jnr on social media, was arrested in Mbiama, Ahoada West Local Government Area of Port harcourt, Rivers State at his friend’s place after many months of investigation.

The police disclosed that Israel had opened several social media accounts including facebook, twitter, WhatsApp and emails to scam Nigerians.

The police says that in many instances, Israel met with unsuspecting members of the public and extorted money from them after promising them he will help secure financial deals and sundry favours for them.

He was arrested alongside his sister, Love Israel, for criminal impersonation , conspiracy, defamation of character and conduct likely to threaten public peace, crimes that portend long prison terms.
