We shall amend the constitution to make President Buhari remain as president until he takes his last breath – Gumau

Bauchi state House of Representative memeber, Lawal Yahaya Gumau has declared during the Senatorial by-election in Bauchi South, that his ambition is to see that president muhamadu buhari’s presidential ambition, come 2019 and even for life is acheived.

He went further added that he will make sure other senators join him in the pursuit of the amendment of the constitution to enable President Buhari rule Nigeria till he answers gives up the  ghost.

In his words, “We’ll amend Constitution to make Buhari remain President till death”

Gumau  boasted that in his 8years of being in the house of rep, has delivered his mandate to his people, and now hopes to go to the senate to protect the interest of pres. Buhari.

In His words:, “I, Lawal Yahaya Gumau, want you to know that the mandate that will be given to me on Saturday, is to go and protect Pres. Buhari’s interest in the Senate.

This is the only mandate that I will be going to the Senate with. Every other mandate you know, I have fulfilled it already in the House of Representatives where I have been for 8 years”.

He further added “Everything that ought to be done for the masses, I have done to the best of my ability. What is now needed in Nigeria is to protect Buhari’s interest and that is what we will do.

OBJ tried all his best with mind-blowing money that he used for the Constitution to be amended to allow him go for a 3rd term, but God didn’t approve of it because of its lack of accountability.

But by God’s grace, we will amend Nigeria’s Constitution to allow Buhari to be President for the remaining years of his life. He will only cease to be President when God takes his life.” He said.
