G.O of mount Zion Ministries arrested for allegedly raping a minor

The General Overseer (G.O) of Mount Zion Ministries, Evangelist Chukwudi Chukwumezie has been allegedly arrested for raping a minor.

Following reports, the 34-year-old general overseer had lured the victim to his church with a prophecy that she has a bright future that is been hindered by evil spirits.

The 15-year-old victim in her statement said that she lost consciousness immediately she entered the pastors car only to regain consciousness in a hotel.

“I didn’t know what happened immediately I entered his car, but I regained consciousness in a room, and I was naked, and the pastor was on top of me, and there was blood in my private part.”

Reacting to the incident, the Anambra based general overseer had denied the allegation stating that he was been set up by another pastor.

he said :

“When I asked her, she said I had passed her house, so I stopped at Nkwo ATM point since I had to withdraw money to pay transportation for our members who were going to the mountain” he said.

However, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Haruna Mohammed confirming the arrest stated that the police on investigation have obtained a medical report showing that the victim’s hymen was broken after penetration
