I go carry the Grammy come back – Burna Boy gets emotional on stage [video]

Ace Nigerian Afro pop star, Burna Boy, has declared that he’ll be bringing home the Grammy in the 2020 edition of the prestigious award. 

He made this known during the close of his performance at Cardi B’s concert, in Lagos, Nigeria.

Recall, there was was widespread jubilation with the emergence of the artiste as a nominee for the Grammy awards. 

His last album ‘The African Giant’ had earned him a nod from the coveted prize alongside other great musicians including Angelique Kidjo.

Burna Boy who had been performing his old song ‘Yawa’ in which he prophesied winning the Grammy had gotten emotional and declared that it would come to pass. 

In his words, he said:

“I go carry the Grammy comeback and when I come back, we go reason.”
