Police arrest ‘Marlians’ at Naira Marley’s concert [Video]

Some fans of Nigerian Street singer, Naira Marley were allegedly arrested by members of Nigeria police at the Marlianfest on Monday.

Recall that Naira Marley held his MarliansFest concert at Eko Convention centre, Victoria Island, Lagos which witnessed huge turn up.

The event however has been trending on all social media platforms after a video of some members of Nigeria police allegedly arrested some fans of Naira Marley popularly referred to as Marlians.

The video below shows moment when some people believe to be Marlians were arrested and put in a van.

However, the reason behind the arrest has not been ascertained, but from the video which went viral, some of the victims were heard crying and pleading to be released. One of them was heard crying and saying “Sir Sir”

This is coming after a video of Marlians trying to scale the fence of Eko Convention centre to watch Naira Marley after refusing to purchase tickets.
