Watch moment Corp members flee Owerri in boot of car over Coronavirus fears [video]

A number of Corp members have become social media sensations after the moment they were escaping Owerri in the boot of a car due to Coronavirus disease went viral.

In the video the NYSC members could be seen leaving the town wearing face masks with some of them occupying the boot of the wagon.

Recall that the federal government of Nigeria, had halted the 3 weeks NYSC orientation camp as a measure to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

Also, as a measure to contain the spread of the virus, the Nigerian government also issued a directive that all schools in the nation be shutdown till further notice starting from Monday the 23rd of March 2020.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a new strain that was discovered in 2019 and has not been previously identified in humans.

President Trump has announced that chloroquine phosphate has been approved for use in treating the disease but the FDA has refuted the claim.
