A Nigerian policeman has sparked widespread reactions online after he was seen placing a live bet during the sunny hours of the day in a Bet9ja shop after leaving his duty post.

In a video seen by Dockaysworld, the officer could be seen maintaining full concentration as he carefully tracked the status of his bet.

The appearance of the police officer led to the discussion of the economy as it seemed to many that he’d taken the risk of being off duty to make some money through live betting.

This is coming days after a man won the sum of 38 million naira on Bet9ja with a ticket he played with only 800 naira in Lagos state.
