The Minister of State for Labour and Employment and APC Presidential Campaign Spokesman Festus Keyamo, has explained the APC candidate Bola Tinubu’s alleged connection to drug barons.
A few days ago, documents of a Chicago District Court reportedly indicting and convicting Tinubu of drug dealings and money laundering in 1993 had emerged online.
The document had revealed that Tinubu had to forfeit over 400,000 dollars for his alleged involvement in the crime after entering a plea bargain.

While speaking at an interview on Wednesday night, Keyamo had explained that Tinubu had inadvertently shared a block of flats with some drug barons about 30 years ago in Chicago, hence the police thinking he was complicit in the crimes committed there.
He said:
“What happened was that Tinubu went to open an account. The address which he used in opening the account was the address used by these people.
“I think some blocks of flats. Maybe, he was happy to be in that block of flats too.
“So, they now link it that the other people they were investigating for narcotics are in the same address used by Asiwaju to open that account.”
