I will fix Nigeria’s problems the way Arsenal beat Chelsea – Atiku vows

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has said he’ll recover and fix the nation in a manner similar to how English football club Arsenal defeated Chelsea earlier today.

Atiku who is staunch supporter of Arsenal, took to his Twitter page to celebrate the victory by the gunners at Stamford bridge.

Atiku who said he has a ‘recovery’ plan for the country, noted that the club had done something noteworthy for fans by winning and he’d do same for Nigerians.

He tweeted:

Arsenal beat Chelsea 1 nil to remain top of the league extending their lead by two points over second placed Manchester city. Manchester United and Tottenham also lost points while Liverpool finally won their first away game of the season.

Atiku had just landed in the country after his journey to the United States. His Vice Presidential candidate Ifeanyi Okowa was booed this evening as he stood in for his principal at a presidential town hall meeting.
