Dr Femi Olaleye missing in court during arraignment over defilement of wife’s 15-year-old niece

A medical doctor of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation Dr. Femi Olaleye, has been discovered missing in court during his arraignment for reportedly defiling his wife’s 15-year-old niece.

The doctor could not be found at the arraignment at the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court in Lagos on Monday.

The State Counsel, Mr Oluwagbenga Alagbe, made the court aware of the defendant’s absence while stating that the prosecution was ready.

Alagbe told court that the prosecution had done the needful in a letter dated November 18, sent to the suspect, the Investigating Police Officer, IPO, to notify all parties of the day’s proceedings.

The defendant‘s counsel Babatunde Ogala, SAN, however explained that his client was out of town when the letter was sent but pleaded to receive it on his behalf as the prosecution called for a warrant for his arrest.

Justice Ramon Oshodi adjourned the arraignment of Olaleye until Nov. 30 due to the absence.

Recall actress Kate Henshaw had Comedian Princess had spearheaded the defense of the little girl by calling on the authorities to arrest the Doctor.
