Tears as Legendary Singer Celine Dion diagnosed with incurable disease [video]

Legendary French Canadian singer Celine Dion, has told fans she’s been diagnosed with a rare neurological health disorder known as Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).

The singer made this known via her Instagram page as she narrated her health ordeals so far.

She revealed that the disease had been affecting her motor skills including asking and singing.

She called off her 2023 shows in the United Kingdom and Europe.

“I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time,” said Dion.
“And it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through,”
“Recently I’ve been diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder called the stiff person syndrome which affects something like one in a million people.”

Celine Dion has all time hits including ‘My Heart will go on’ from the critically acclaimed movie, ‘titanic’.

SPS is a very rare condition which is incurable but can be treated and managed with use of medicines and muscle relaxants which slow down its progression.

The condition leads to spasms, muscle rigidity and heighten sensitivity to noise, touch, and emotional distress, which can set off the muscle spasms.
