The Department of State Services, DSS has announced that the suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa is currently in their custody.

The service made this known through a press statement by the spokesman Peter Afunanya earlier this evening.

Though the security outfit has said that Bawa is only with them out of an invitation to further an investigation, many have speculated that an official arrest is not far away.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu had announced the suspension of the chairman hours ago, citing the commencement of the inauguration.
