Walk, Don’t Hide – Lawyers Warn as Emefiele Tries to dodge Journalists in court [video]

Suspended Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele was the subject of some tough love after he tried to hide from journalists at the Federal High Court, Abuja, Thursday.

Emefiele, who has been in detention since his suspension on June 9, 2023, was accused of conferring corrupt advantages on Yaro, a director in April 1616 Investment Ltd.

In the a trending video seen by Dockaysworld, the embattled suspended apex bank chief could be seen dodging journalists who had already surrounded him while he received a call in the witness box.

After his call, Emefiele attempted to exit the courtroom with his head bowed but was advised against this by his lawyers who escorted him out.
