Activist Sowore reveals real reason for Verydarkman’s continued detention

Nigerian Activist and politician Omoyele Sowore has revealed the true reasons fellow activist and influencer Verydarkman continues to be in jail despite meeting bail conditions. 

According to the former presidential candidate who’s often in the police net himself, Verydarkman is being held because he accused the upper echelon of the police force of sleeping with crossdresser Bobrisky.

Sowore who shared the update via his Instagram page said that VDM’s detention could possibly last till after the Easter break as the orders came all the way from the top. He also shared updates about another man in detention. 

He wrote: 

“I have some updates regarding the two citizens languishing in @nigeriapoliceforce engineered unlawful detentions over the “cybercrime act” – Martin Otse @thatverydarkman and Chukwuma Ofoegbu @ljeleSpeaks2.

Regarding @thatverydarkman he’s being held hostage by the highest authorities at the @PoliceNGRegarding @verydarkblackman, he’s being held hostage by the highest authorities at the @nigeriapoliceforce; after meeting stringent administrative bail conditions yesterday afternoon, they met and decided to “teach him a lesson” by holding him in indefinite detention until they charge him to court, possibly after the Easter Holidays.

(They’re currently shopping for a judge to do their bidding). This is because they claimed he accused them (Police DIGs) of homosexuality. They’re taking laws into their own hands. As per Chukwuma Ofoegbu @ljeleSpeaks2, the police at Zone 7 at the Police Headquarters in Abuja have a contract to frame him up; this is in collusion with a certain “ZION PRAYER MINISTRY MOVEMENT OUTREACH.” They obtained a magistrate’s consent to detain him for 14 days. Lawyers are working to vacate the illegal detention order and get him bailed soonest.

These are the new methods being actively used by the @nigeriapoliceforceauthorities to suppress free speech and hunt down citizens engaging in public discourse.
