The Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, has said that he has retired 2023 PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar to rear broilers and goats.

Shettima made the comment while speaking to journalists after the presidential election petition tribunal affirmed the presidency of Bola Ahmed Tinubu with Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar losing out.

The vice president noted that politics was a game of jests and jibes as he made the comment about Abubakar which he said wasn’t personal rather just friendly banter.

He stated that he wouldn’t retire Atiku, who hails from the North East zone like him, to Morocco or Dubai but rather to Kombina where he would buy the goats and broilers to be sent to him.

He added that now was the time for all parties to join together to move the nation forward.
