This advanced training equipped him with specialised knowledge in cybersecurity, data systems, and digital infrastructure.
His professional journey began with an internship at First Bank of Nigeria, where he gained early exposure to structured corporate systems and financial technologies. He subsequently worked with the National Hajj Commission and the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, experiences that deepened his understanding of how digital systems can support large-scale public service operations.
Suleiman Isah later joined the Federal Inland Revenue Service, where he played significant roles in IT risk management, network administration, and national system security. His contributions within Nigeria’s tax infrastructure strengthened his expertise in building secure, efficient, and accountable digital systems, qualities that would become central to his leadership style.
Before his transition into executive public office, he served as Special Adviser on ICT and Digital Transformation to the Niger State Internal Revenue Service.
