Breaking: Cristiano Ronaldo to earn N96B as he officially signs for Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr [photos]

Ace Portuguese Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, has officially signed for Saudi Arabia club Al Nassr FC where he’ll earn an annual salary of €200m (N96B).

The announcement was made by the club via their official Twitter handle after Ronaldo agreed terms with them and stood for a photo op.

The deal will last till June 2025 and includes a commercial deal as the player’s marketing prowess is a key part of the buy.

Ronaldo’s pay becomes the biggest in the history of football and he become a the highest paid athlete.

The break down of his pay is thus;

£173m a year

£14.4m a month

£3.6m a week

£514k a day

The announcement reads:

History in the making. This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves. Welcome @Cristiano to your new home @AINassrFC

This comes after Ronaldo was booted from Manchester United after an explosive  interview where he went after the club.
