Bullied Leads British School student Namtira breaks silence [video]


The young student of Leads British International School Abuja who was recently bullied by a school mate in a now viral video, Namtira Bwala has broken her silence on the matter.

Namtira who’s been with the minister of women affairs Uju Kennedy-Ohanemye, spoke to newsmen as she narrated her side of the story and how she came to be viciously attacked by Maryam who has since apologized.

Meanwhile, Miss. Bwala has taken legal action following an incident of bullying and assault she endured while at school.

Bwala formally requested that the school conduct a thorough investigation and apply the strictest penalties outlined in its disciplinary policies to Ms. Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students allegedly involved.

A video depicting the bullying incident, which occurred on April 22, 2024, went viral after being shared online. Bwala was the target of the bullying, with Miss Maryam Hassan and Ms. Faliya identified as leaders of the group involved.

Through her legal representatives, Deji Adeyanju and Partners, Bwala issued a letter to the school administration. In the letter, she stated that if the school fails to take appropriate disciplinary action against the alleged bullies within 48 hours of receiving the letter, she will pursue legal recourse against the school.

The letter signed by Marvin Omorogbe Esq. partly reads:

“Our client completely dissociate herself from the statement issued by the school on April 22, 2024 wherein a case of battery was unconscionably referred to as an “incident between minors.
