Cameroonians Join Guinness World Record Challenges as man begins 100 hour longest crying session [video]

A Cameroonian skit maker Tembu Daniel aka Town Cryer has begun his journey to set the Guinness World Record for the longest crying marathon by an individual.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, the comedian, who is based in Lagos, Nigeria, said he will be crying nonstop for 100 hours.

In an accompanying flier, the skit maker said he has the permission of the GWR to proceed with the attempt.

He also called for support from his fans.
“I am going in to break the Guinness world record for the longest time crying,” he wrote.

The attempts to break Guinness world records from Africa have noticed an upsurge following Hilda Baci’s successful try for longest cooking marathon. The latest of which include longest singing marathon and longest Instagram live session.
