Court finalizes Paul Okoye’s Divorce from Anita days after unveiling new lover

Ace Nigerian musician Paul Okoye of the P-Square group is official divorced from wife Anita  after proceedings were recently finalized.

Anita who filed for divorce over multiple claims including fraud and infidelity had asked the court to compel Paul to proviwd a monthly statement do $20,000.

The final resolution however says that Anita would not receive financial compensation in form of alimony or settlement.

Anita accused Paul of swingling her as he’d promised to to give her a space in just completed mall in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos after she invested 10 million naira in the project.

This was contained in the divorce petition signed by her lawyer, Ojonimi Akpe and Okutepa J.S at an Abuja High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Maitama.

The petition reads in part “That I know as a fact that the Petitioner founded a company called TannkCo in 2019. That the Petitioner and the Respondent agreed to build a mall where TannkCo would have its main offices, and the Petitioner contributed N10,000,000.00 (Ten Million Naira) for the purchase of the land and the building of the mall. That I know as a fact that the Respondent, upon completion of the mall, reneged on the agreement and failed to give TannkCo a space in the mall.”

The court granted both parties joint custody October 20, 2022 as Anita withdraw her claims as a result of difficulty to prove.

This all comes after Paul introduced his 22-year-old girlfriend to fans and followers some days back garnering comments from trolls and well wishers alike.

Paul and Anita have three children together: Andre, born in 2013; and the twins, Nathan and Nadia, born in 2017.
