The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has adjusted its ex-depot price for petrol, reducing it to ₦970 per litre.
This change, announced on Sunday, reflects a ₦20 decrease from the earlier price of ₦990 set earlier this month.
Located in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos, the refinery’s decision aims to benefit oil marketers, providing slight cost relief.
Additionally, the refinery assured stakeholders of maintaining high-quality, environmentally sustainable fuel products while scaling up production to meet local demand and prevent supply shortages.

Earlier this month, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) unveiled plans for a ₦50 reduction in the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) per litre.
This followed a new pricing structure agreed upon with Dangote Refinery.
The reduced rates are expected to lower pump prices nationwide, offering relief to consumers currently paying between ₦1,150 and ₦1,200 per litre, depending on the state.
