Months after the heartbreaking loss of his wife, the daughters of the man who made headlines with his emotional plea about his wife’s death due to a lack of funds for her hospital bills have been awarded a ₦500,000 scholarship.
In a deeply emotional Instagram post, Captain Blaze shared the news that his daughters had been selected as recipients of the Taukeme Edwin Koroye (TEK) Memorial Scholarship Fund, an initiative designed to support young learners in their pursuit of education.
Captain Blaze had previously captured the public’s attention with his devastating story of how his wife’s life was tragically cut short due to the hospital’s refusal to treat her promptly over financial constraints.
“Congratulations to us,” Captain Blaze wrote, sharing a photo of himself holding the official scholarship letter alongside his daughters.
