Davido’s associate Tiny dies after penis enlargement procedure in Thailand

Nigerian-British businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known as Denisi or Ego, has died at the age of 43 after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure during a luxury holiday in Thailand.

A coroner has ruled that the cosmetic treatment caused a pulmonary embolism that led to his death.

Ubiribo was staying at a Marriott hotel in Bangkok with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, when he underwent the procedure at an unnamed Thai clinic in March.

According to an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court, 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected into his penis.

After the procedure, Ubiribo and his wife went for a massage, where he complained of chest pain and reportedly passed out twice.

He was rushed by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital and was initially able to answer questions. His wife informed doctors about the filler injections, but Ubiribo lost consciousness before a recommended CT scan could be carried out.

Doctors diagnosed him with a pulmonary embolism, a condition in which a blood clot blocks a blood vessel in the lungs, and transferred him to intensive care.

Medical personnel performed CPR for more than 100 minutes in an attempt to save him, but he died in the early hours of March 6.

A postmortem examination conducted in the United Kingdom later found cellular material in his lungs matching the hyaluronic acid used in the procedure.

Coroner Jean Harkin subsequently ruled that Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic treatment.

Ubiribo had about 185,000 followers on Instagram and was known for his lavish lifestyle. He owned a $1.1 million home in Los Angeles and a $600,000 apartment in London.

He married fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen in a lavish $473,000 ceremony in Zimbabwe in 2022.

Ubiribo was later buried in London in a gold coffin reportedly costing more than $745,000. Nigerian singer Davido and celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest were among those who attended his funeral.

Hyaluronic acid penis fillers can cost up to $9,000 and typically last between six and nine months. British urology experts have warned that the procedure can cause potentially devastating complications.
