FG constitutes governing council for universities

The Federal Government has approved the appointment of 555 persons to serve as Chairmen and members of governing councils of tertiary institutions in Nigeria

Recall that Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) threatened to embark on strike over the government’s refusal to reconstitute the governing councils of public universities.
