Legendary Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has declared he’s finally “home” after completing his return to AC Milan.
Ibrahimovic, 38, touched down at Linate Airport on Thursday morning before undergoing a medical the Madonnina Clinic in Milan.
He is set to sign a six-month contract, with the option for an extra year and has also taken the No.21 shirt, after agreeing to return following his LA Galaxy exit in November.
“I remember arriving in this same spot many years ago,” said ibrahimovic. “What matters now is that I’m back and I’m happy.
“I’ve always said this is my home and I’m finally back. I’ve played for other teams in my years, but finally I’m back and that’s all that matters.”
Hundreds of fans had turned up at the airport to see the return of the veteran Swede, while also lining the streets.
